The MICATool team invites you to become part of the MICAT community. By registering, you'll gain personalised guidance on utilising the tool effectively.
In today’s rapidly evolving energy landscape, understanding and evaluating the multiple impacts of energy efficiency measures is critical. That’s where the MICAT Community comes in, a dynamic platform for stakeholders across Europe to engage, collaborate, and help shape the MICATool, a powerful resource designed to assess the broader impacts of energy policies. Whether you're a representative from a national agency, a local authority, or an interest group in energy area, the MICAT Community offers an exciting opportunity to influence the development of this innovative tool and join a network of forward-thinking professionals.
Here’s why you should be part of the MICAT Community:
The MICATool (Multiple Impacts Calculation Tool) is being developed further to assess the multiple impacts of energy efficiency initiatives. While stakeholders from the pilot countries (Germany, Italy, and Czech Republic) are heavily involved in the project, we understand that the potential of SEED MICAT project goes far beyond these borders. This is why the MICAT Community has been created, allowing stakeholders across Europe and beyond to actively engage in its development.
If you're involved in energy planning, policymaking, or sustainability initiatives, the MICAT Community is designed for you. Whether you're from a ministry, a national agency, a local authority, or an interest group, your input can help shape a tool that will support better decision-making across Europe.
1. Exclusive Workshops and Feedback Opportunities
By joining the MICAT Community, you’ll be informed and gain access to a series of workshops designed to present the MICATool, discuss its functionalities, and gather feedback directly from other stakeholders. These workshops offer a platform for exchange and collaboration, enabling you to influence the future development of the tool to better meet the needs of your region, sector, or organisation.
2. Tailored Training Sessions
The MICAT Community also offers hands-on training sessions to help stakeholders understand and use the MICATool to its full potential. Starting from October 2024, these online sessions will be available to stakeholders across the EU at various levels—national, regional, and local.
Around 40 training sessions will be offered in different languages (English, German, Italian, and Czech).
Sessions will be flexible and tailored to different user needs.
Webinars will guide you step-by-step on how to make the most of MICATool’s features.
Personalised training sessions will be available on request for organisations with specific needs.
Whether you're new to energy assessment tools or have experience in this space, these trainings will provide the practical knowledge you need to integrate MICATool into your day-to-day operations. The flexibility in scheduling ensures that the sessions can accommodate your organisation’s specific timelines and priorities.
3. Ongoing Support through a Seasonal Newsletter
By registering for the MICAT Community, you’ll also receive tailored advice on how to make the most out of MICATool. This series of newsletters serve as a continuous source of support, making sure you’re fully equipped to leverage the tool’s full capabilities. Therefore, the frequency of these updates may vary based on the latest developments and necessary information.
By being part of this community, you'll not only stay informed about the SEED MICAT project but also have the chance to contribute your expertise, ensuring that the tool is as functional, efficient, and relevant as possible.
